Biig Piig
Biig Piig (Jessica Smyth) has been making waves internationally and is on the cusp of some really big moves in the industry. We caught up with her just as she released her debut mixtape, Bubblegum, to talk about her unique mix of hip-hop, R&B, and electronic influences, and how her Irish and Spanish roots shape her music. She's since released a full length LP, 11:11, and we'll be working on getting her on the phone for a chat about that soon too!

Gurriers
Dublin’s Gurriers are part of the new wave of Irish post-punk, bringing raw energy and fearless political lyrics to the stage. Sam Steen spoke with front man Dan Hoff recently about their rise in the scene, their intense live shows, and what’s next for them ahead of their appearance at this year's Out Of the Crowd Festival.

Therapy?
A true staple of the Irish rock scene, Therapy? has been delivering heavy-hitting anthems since the early ‘90s. DB3's chat with Andy Cairns is as wide ranging as you could possibly imagine, covering everything from cake to Courtney Love via covers and everything in between..

Fontaines D.C.
We had to reach back in the vault for this one. One of Ireland’s biggest musical exports in recent years, Fontaines D.C. have taken the world by storm with their gritty, poetic take on post-punk. Melissa Dalton caught up with Deego from the band last time they were in town, they've skyrocketted since then and are set to play a huge show at Neimenster this summer. It's sold out but Today Radio will be giving away tickets just FYI!

The Clockworks
This Galway-born, London-based band is carrying the torch for sharp, storytelling-driven rock. Below is part one of a two part conversation that Stephen Steps Lowe had with Sean Connelly from the band where they discussed the band's move to the UK, social media and working on their live show.
Whether you’re blasting Therapy?’s classic hits, getting lost in the wall of sound that is Fontaines D.C., or discovering the next big thing with Biig Piig, there’s no shortage of Irish talent to soundtrack your St. Patrick’s Day. Cheers to great music make sure to tune in to Today Radio for more excellent music interviews! We'll bring you a part 2 of this list later today!
