Brendan Rodgers called out over Rangers claim as creeping Celtic concern detected after 'pop' backfires
The Parkhead boss was in bullish form before derby day - but Barry Ferguson would lead his side to victory at Celtic Park

Brendan Rodgers said he didn't see any major changes in Rangers from the Philippe Clement era going into the game.
But Kris Boyd has told the Celtic boss he DID see a different side today as Barry Ferguson led the side to three Premiership points in Glasgow's east end.
The visitors came into derby day on a high after Ferguson led Rangers into the Europa League quarter finals after an epic penalty shoot out win over Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce.
But with his side coming into the game 16 points clear at the summit, Rodgers was unmoved and felt there has been no major shake up since Ferguson's move into the dugout.
But Ibrox fan favourite Boyd reckons he has seen a major change now - and will be leaving Celtic Park with some major concerns over the next derby showdown.
Despite lifting the Premier Sports Cup after the clash with the Light Blues - the Hoops were pushed all the way by their rivals at Hampden. They won on penalties after a topsy-turvy 3-3 showdown.
Rodgers' men then slumped to a 3-0 defeat to Ibrox - and were unable to get revenge on their own turf this time around.
Boyd told Sky Sports: "Listen, Celtic obviously won the cup final but there will be a little bit of a concern for me if I'm Brendan Rodgers now - that's nine goals they have conceded in three games.
"They won the cup final but it wasn't really something we have seen - especially here (at Celtic Park).
"Anybody coming here, they just don't score goals, but Rangers could have had four or five.
"Second half you would expect Celtic to have a lot of the ball and penetrate Rangers - and that is exactly what happened, and Rangers were able to find a winner.
"But Rangers in the first half were excellent, take nothing away from them. Brendan Rodgers had a pop in terms of he has not really seen anything different - he has today."
Asked about the Ferguson era at Rangers earlier this week, Rodgers said: “Listen, I don't know Barry but I know him as a player and I know that he's gone in and he'll have a great connection with the supporters.
“His history at the club, his success at the club, he was a fantastic player for them. For me, if I look purely at the coaching aspect of it, over the course of four games I don't see great change.
“You know, I see the team go 2-0 down against Kilmarnock and come back and win. I see the team lose at home to Motherwell.
"I see the team go away and get a fantastic result against Fenerbahce and then I see the team lose last night 2-0 over 90 minutes but win the tie.
“I’ve seen the team change the system, absolutely a really good tactical change to go 5-4-1 in Fenerbahce but I still see a lot of the same traits.
