Brianna Chickenfry wasn’t inspiring the love ballads, eh?

Zach Bryan is back to teasing new music on his social media channel, and it appears his new love interest has made her way into his songbook.

Since his very public breakup, Zach Bryan has been teasing a bunch of songs he’s workshopping. Fans have been lucky enough to get a few new singles, as he released “This World’s A Giant” and “High Road” right after their split. Then, thanks to the Philadelphia Eagles winning the NFC Championship and the Super Bowl, he gifted fans with two more singles, “Blue Jean Baby” and “Dear Miss.”

In addition to these singles, ZB is teasing many projects in the works. He’s promised fans a new EP titled With Heaven On Top, which he said is coming “sooner than not,” but an official release date has yet to be announced. He also teamed up with Matthew McConaughey to announce a new film project, “Motorbreath,” that highlights a motorcycle trip ZB and his friends took while he recorded a record.

“This is not a film about a band, this is a film about a boy from Oklahoma. A boy who joined the Navy, with a love of writing. That writing connected with people, a lot of people. This film is about a group of best friends taking a two-week motorcycle ride across America, while recording one final major label album. Oh, and the title of the film you ask? ‘Motorbreath.’”

However, since the film project’s announcement, ZB has been teasing a significant amount of new music. This begs the question: Is the final album already done? Are the songs he’s previewing on said record? Or is he still writing and planning to later release another record off a major label?

Regardless, fans love what they hear, and many believe this project will be his best yet.

With that, fans are now picking up hints on what and who inspires some of the teased tracks. Earlier this week, ZB hard-launched his new relationship with Australian-based woman Hannah Duncan. At the moment, ZB seems to be Down Under visiting Duncan after the two were spotted on a date in New York before they made it official on Instagram.

He must really be into this woman because he’s mentioned her in a poem and now a song, too.

On the latest single that ZB teased, you can hear apparent themes of his new woman interlaced in the lyrics, and there might be a slight dig at his ex-girlfriend, as ZB opens the preview of the song with a lyric that he hasn’t written a love song in a long time.

“I ain’t written a love song in so long
As your hair leads down your spine
If you don’t mind, being mine
For the night, or the rest of time
Let your hips and lips and your fingertips
Slip against the city streets seeping in again
Sleeping in while my friends get high on the edge of the westside highway
Did you ever get back to Byron Bay?
The day that you told me to quit drinking
And thinking I’s gonna die before thirty…”

Given that ZB mentions Byron Bay, an Australian town, it appears that Duncan inspired him greatly when he wrote this track.

Like many of his other songs, ZB fans are begging him to release this tune. Even the fans “on Brianna’s side” after their split said they are ready to hear the full version of the song.

Check out a few comments before you go.

“I’m still on Bri’s side but…. Yeah, I’m ready for more music.”

“Already mentioning Australia.”

“They could never make me hate you.”

“Dear sweet baby Jesus, let this album WRECK me.”

“Will he ever write a bad song?”

“You know what, hell yeah.”

“Screaming. Crying.”

“So soothing.”

“The way I tried so hard to boycott him. His music is too addictive. Can’t wait to hear the full version of this song.”
